Man shot and injured in Mizpah, St Catherine

Detectives in the St Catherine North division have launched an investigation after a 31--year-old man was shot and injured in Mizpah district on Saturday night.

Reports are that about 9:05 p.m. on December 7, the man was standing at his gate in the community when he was pounced upon by unknown assailants who opened fire and injured him.

He was assisted to the Linstead Hospital where he was admitted for treatment.

The Glengoffe police are probing the incident.
